About the model
Rolf Benz Mera 386 – versatile on a small footprint
The Mera comes from Beck Design, the studio of Norbert Beck; Rolf Benz lists it under the number 386. The manufacturer describes it as small on proportions but big on lightness. The back adjusts steplessly, upward-folding cushions create an extra-high backrest, and you can also move the headrest to the position you prefer. Adjustable side sections invite you to lie or sit crosswise. According to Rolf Benz, the seat depth is 62 cm.
Mera 386 corner sofa in grey fabric
This Mera is a corner sofa for four people, upholstered in the grey fabric 24.255 Schiefergrau. Seen from the front, the corner is on the left. Frame and feet are finished in umbra grey. The armrests and backs are adjustable, so you can lie crosswise or lean back against a high backrest. In the reclining position, they enlarge the footprint from 267 to up to 342 cm in width and from 192 to up to 267 cm in depth.

Der Rücken lässt sich stufenlos verstellen. Klappen Sie zusätzlich die Kissen nach oben, entsteht eine extra hohe Lehne, und das Kopfteil bringen Sie in die Position, die Ihnen angenehm ist.
Wie pflegen Sie den Stoffbezug des Mera 386?
Saugen Sie den Stoff regelmäßig mit einer Polsterdüse ab, auch in den Fugen der verstellbaren Elemente. Flecken nehmen Sie frisch mit einem feuchten, hellen Tuch auf und tupfen dabei von außen nach innen. Reinigungsmittel testen Sie vorher an einer verdeckten Stelle.

Rolf Benz wurde 1964 vom Polsterer Rolf Benz in Nagold gegründet. Sein erstes Programm Addiform bestand aus Elementen, die sich frei zu einer Sitzlandschaft kombinieren ließen. Zu den bekannten Modellen zählen das Plura von Norbert Beck mit stufenlos verstellbarem Rücken und das Nova von Joachim Nees, dessen Rücken sich bis in eine Liegeposition öffnen lässt. Gefertigt wird überwiegend von Hand in zwei eigenen Werken im Nordschwarzwald; jedes Sofa durchläuft eine Endkontrolle.
