About the model
Ligne Roset Confluences – elements that flow into one another
Philippe Nigro designed Confluences for Ligne Roset in 2009; the range marked the start of his long collaboration with the manufacturer. The French name refers to rivers flowing together and describes the principle: elements with different volumes and backs of different heights interlock like puzzle pieces, and their seats overlap. There is deliberately no symmetry. Confluences is upholstered with Bultex foam in several densities and polyester wadding; the covers are removable and all parts can be taken apart.
Confluences two-seater in green fabric with footstool
This Confluences consists of a seat element and a lounge element in two different shades of green, plus a matching footstool. It is upholstered in a felt-like fabric. Seen from the front, the lounge element is on the right. There is room for two people across 160 cm, and the footstool serves as a footrest or an extra seat. The interplay of the green tones shows how Confluences works with colour nuances.
Why buy a pre-owned Ligne Roset Confluences?
Ligne Roset is a French family business that has been making furniture since 1860 and produces its seating in its own workshops. The manufacturer no longer offers Confluences today, so a pre-owned piece is the way to this design. Because the covers are removable and the elements can be taken apart, the sofa is easy to clean and rearrange. This piece has been inspected in eight stations.

Ja. Ligne Roset führte im Confluences-Programm einen Hocker, den es wie die übrigen Elemente in einfarbiger Ausführung gab. Er steht frei vor dem Sofa und dient als Fußablage oder als zusätzlicher Sitz.
Wie ist das Confluences aufgebaut?
Der Sitz ruht auf drei Lagen kreuzweise angeordneter Platten, der Rücken auf verschweißtem Stahl, der an einem Metallgitter hängt. Die Polster bestehen aus Bultex-Schaum in verschiedenen Dichten mit Polyesterwatte; die Füße aus schwarzem Polypropylen bleiben unsichtbar.
Wie pflegen Sie den filzartigen Stoff des Confluences?
Saugen Sie den Stoff regelmäßig mit der Polsterdüse ab, besonders an den Übergängen zwischen den Elementen. Frische Flecken tupfen Sie mit einem feuchten Tuch ab, ohne zu reiben. Da die Bezüge abnehmbar sind, kann ein Fachbetrieb sie einzeln reinigen.

Ligne Roset ist ein französisches Familienunternehmen, 1860 von Antoine Roset im Département Ain gegründet; Polstermöbel fertigt es seit 1936. Den Markennamen gibt es seit 1973, dem Jahr des Togo von Michel Ducaroy. Beim Ploum von Ronan und Erwan Bouroullec (2011) umschließt ein Stretchbezug Sitz, Rücken und Armlehnen in einem Stück. Das Pumpkin von Pierre Paulin entstand 1971 für die Privatwohnung der Pompidous im Élysée-Palast. Die Sitzmöbel entstehen bis heute in eigenen Werkstätten im Südosten Frankreichs.
