Rolf Benz 6300 Three-seater, Fabric Grey

Rolf Benz 6300 – sofa with a deep seat

The Rolf Benz 6300 is a sofa range with a deep seat and a clear outline. Slim, high armrests frame the seat without taking up much space. The cushions sit flush against each other without gaps, creating a calm surface. The sofa stands on flat metal feet that are barely visible beneath the body. The sofa could be combined with an armchair and footstool from the same series to form a group, for instance with the footstool as a shared footrest.

Rolf Benz 6300 three-seater in grey fabric

This Rolf Benz 6300 is a three-seater with a grey fabric cover. The deep seat invites you to lean back and stretch out, turning the sofa into a lounging spot in the living room. The grey remains understated. With cushions and throws, you can change the colour scheme to suit the season. The three-seater is well suited to film nights for two or three. Because the armrests are slim, plenty of width remains for the seats.

Seating comfort and space

This sofa is made for leaning back: the seat is deep, and at 38 cm the seat height is well below the usual 42 to 45 cm. The result is a lounge-like feel, and a little momentum helps when getting up. Above all, you need space in terms of depth. The sofa measures 1.2 m from front to back, plus 60 to 80 cm of walking space. It takes up around 2.3 m of wall space.

Elements and additions

Besides straight sofas, the 6300 range also included corner solutions with a chaise longue, as well as an armchair and a footstool. A footstool in front of the sofa extends the space for lying down, and an armchair completes the seating group. The 6300 is no longer listed in Rolf Benz’s current range. However, Rolf Benz offers reupholstery for most of its upholstered furniture, arranged through specialist retailers.

Caring for the fabric cover

Vacuum the cover about once a month with the upholstery nozzle on low suction and brush it with a soft brush. A damp, soft chamois leather freshens up the fibres in between. Blot stains immediately with an absorbent, light-coloured cloth, working from the edge towards the centre. It is best not to use steam cleaners.

Why buy a pre-owned Rolf Benz 6300?

Rolf Benz has been making upholstered furniture since 1964, when the company was founded by the upholsterer Rolf Benz in Nagold in the Black Forest. The 6300 has a simple shape that is not tied to fashions. Buying pre-owned gets you a sofa that fits into many interiors. If you want it to have a new cover later on, Rolf Benz can reupholster it itself in most cases. This piece has been inspected in eight stations.
