Its hallmarks are the outward-curving sides, the high back and the angled feet made of cast aluminium. Their textured surface is partly polished. Beneath the cover, an inner wooden frame and steel sinuous springs do the work. The seat and back are made of polyether foam built up in layers of different thicknesses and firmness. The body is also covered with foam.
