It was inspired by natural, mineral forms: the sofa consists of soft, rounded volumes without edges. For these curves, Roche Bobois developed special stretch fabrics that fit snugly around the upholstery. The structure is made of solid fir, pine plywood and chipboard, and elastic straps give the seat its spring. It was on display in a showroom and was never used in a home. The rounded back line makes it an eye-catcher even when it stands freely in the room. As the main sofa in a living room, it seats four people. For a sofa of this length, a long wall or an open-plan living area is ideal.
